Only the best stories start with "so I bought this dress..."
Last year, for my own family Christmas card photos, I was looking for a fancy red gown. Not being at my "ideal weight", the form fitting, prom-type gowns I was seeing just weren't cutting it. I came across this velvet beauty on Amazon of all places...yes, it was a maternity gown and I wasn't pregnant at the time, but you'd never really know it was maternity unless you looked at the Amazon listing. I was perfect! I knew I'd be able to reuse it over and over, for myself or for clients...and for about a year, I've known that this gown was just begging to be used in the snow! We FINALLY (this is Southern California, after all!) go enough rain for there to be some snow in the mountains. I put out a last minute model call on social media and Melinda and her sweet baby boy bump reached out...and the rest is history! And dare I say, this was the perfect way to end this crazy year...these photos came out exactly the way I'd been picturing them in my head for so long!
