99% of the time, when I "discover" a new location for photos, I dress up my boys and take them there first to "practice". I'd seen almond orchards blooming in Bakersfield before...but those were about a 2.5 hour drive away. My sister in law discovered these beauties only about an hour away from me and let me tell you, it was worth every second of that drive! The almond blooms are a little "elusive"...they're only here for about two weeks in February...which is still considered winter in most parts! I hope I'll get to offer sessions here soon...I think you'll see why the drive and the chill are totally worth it!
